I threw it out there. I guess I have bad aim.

It is about to be Spring Traning Season here in the Valley and you would think by the title of this blog, that perhaps that I have something to say about the insanity of these particular tourists. They're tourists. If you live somewhere that is a tourist town or has a tourist attraction, then you know what I am talking about, if you don't - I'm not going to bother to explain. Thank you for the money to spend in my town. Go home.

Recently, at the Christian University I work at, that has the Ken Blanchard College of Business that preaches Servant Leadership. Mind you, a great many of the management team here at the university has taken at least one degree from this College of Business, I applied for a management position. I met every qualification. I practiced my interview skills with my manager, I killed my interview. I smiled pretty. I covered the tats, I took out the nose ring since it is a group of people at the school that don't know me, and I didn't want to shock them..... I killed it. I had recommendations from my director, my manager and a previous manager that works for them offsite.
Guess what, I need to have a second job that I work at night to feed my kids and I need to learn how to play basketball with the directors.
I should have fucking known better.

And everyone keeps asking, "Are you still writing?".
This, I guess, has been my contribution. What I've done. What can I do? Can i do more?
I've been a daughter
I've been a student.
a worker
a maid
a poseur in retail and food service positions
a myriad of office postitions
a sinner of call center positions
a lover of men and women
a passionate cook
a saver of animals
a bitch
a bit inconsitent
a fighter for truth
a liar
a thinker
afraid.

In a desert no one tells you the same thing twice
the weather is the harbinger of truth

So right now, this is just where it begins
